The From The Anvil Locking Deluxe Monkeytail Fastener - LH in Black is a Monkeytail casement fastener, sometimes called a cockspur handle, which holds a casement window shut against the frame. It is sold individually. It locks by way of a grub screw. This is the left hand version: standing inside looking out, a window hinged on the left needs a left hand handle.

• These fasteners are handed, so it's important to make sure you choose the correct hand. From the inside looking out, if your window is hinged on the right hand side then a right hand fastener is required and vice versa.

• Suitable for use with weather-stripped windows.

Our Black products have a distinctive, subtle sheen; hand forged from mild steel this finish are extremely low maintenance, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability as a result of being powder coated, then baked in a high temperature oven during the final stages of manufacturing. An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, we offer a durable 'Black Touch Up Paint' (73101) if required.
