The From The Anvil 10" Monkeytail Stay (Steel Window) in Black is a 10 inch Monkeytail casement stay, which holds a casement window open at the position you choose. It is sold individually. It has an offset backplate to suit the thin profile of steel windows and is fixed with M5 machine screws. A stay pin and stay rest are included, and a locking stay pin is available separately.

Our Black products have a distinctive, subtle sheen; hand forged from mild steel this finish are extremely low maintenance, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability as a result of being powder coated, then baked in a high temperature oven during the final stages of manufacturing. An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

Care & Maintenance

An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, we offer a durable 'Black Touch Up Paint' (73101) if required.
