Heritage Brass cabinet cup pulls by M.Marcus are cup handles for kitchen drawers, dressers, chests of drawers and fitted furniture. You hook your fingers under the cup to pull the drawer open, which gives a comfortable grip and a classic look. There are 125 to choose from, in 12 designs and 10 finishes, all made from solid brass. They are part of the wider Heritage Brass kitchen and cabinet hardware range.

For gold cup handles, satin brass gives a soft brushed gold and polished brass a bright one. For black cup handles, choose matt black. Cup Handle Designs

  • Hampshire, Crescent and Half Moon: classic curved cup handles at 57mm fixing centres, with hammered versions of the Hampshire and Crescent.
  • Warwickshire and Cheshire: traditional cup pulls for period kitchens, dressers and restored furniture.
  • Shropshire and Military: longer cup handles for wide drawers. The Shropshire is made at 76/96mm and 152mm, and the Military at 76/96mm and 152/178mm. The dual centre versions fit either hole spacing.
  • Deco and Bauhaus: art deco and Bauhaus inspired designs at 89mm and 76mm.
  • Traditional: a simple cup pull for Shaker and country kitchens.

Choosing the Right Size

Cup handles are sized by their fixing centres (CTC), the distance between the centres of the two fixing holes. 57mm is the most common size in the range, with larger designs at 76mm, 89mm, 96mm and 152mm. The Shropshire and Military designs have dual fixing centres, which is useful when replacing old handles. What is a cup handle?
A cup handle, also called a cup pull or bin pull, is a curved drawer handle you hook your fingers under to pull the drawer open. It is a traditional choice for kitchen drawers, dressers and chests of drawers.

What size cup handles do I need?
Measure between the centres of the two existing fixing holes and choose a cup handle with the same fixing centres. 57mm is the most common size in the Heritage Brass range, with larger sizes up to 152mm.

Are cup handles good for kitchen drawers?

How to Choose Replacement Cup Handles

1. Measure the fixing centres. Take the old handle off, or look at the back of the drawer, and measure from the centre of one fixing hole to the centre of the other. That is the CTC size.

2. Match the size. Choose a cup handle with the same CTC and it will fit the existing holes. 57mm is the most common size in the range. If your holes are 76mm or 96mm, the Shropshire and Military cup handles have dual centres to fit either.

3. Check the drawer size. Small drawers suit a 57mm cup handle. Wide drawers and pan drawers look balanced with a longer design, or two cup handles spaced evenly.

4. Choose the finish. Pick a finish that matches your door handles, taps and lighting, such as antique brass, matt black or polished chrome. Heritage Brass door handles and window furniture are made in the same core finishes.

What is the difference between a cup handle and a pull handle?

A cup handle is curved, and you hook your fingers under it. A pull handle is a bar or D shape you grip from the front. Cup handles suit drawers, and pull handles suit doors and drawers.

Can I fit cup handles on cupboard doors?

You can, but cup handles are easiest to use on drawers, where you pull towards you. On doors, knobs or pull handles are usually easier to grip.

Are the cup handles sold singly?

Check the unit of sale on each product page. Order one for each drawer, or two for very wide drawers.

What if my holes are a size you do not list?

Check the size filter first. If your size is not there, you may need to fill the old holes and drill new ones, or send us a photo and we will help.

Do the hammered cup handles match hammered knobs?

Yes. Heritage Brass makes hammered cupboard knobs and hammered pull handles in the same finishes, so you can use them together.

Which cup handles suit a period kitchen?
