Heritage Brass Reeded Casement Stays

Reeded Brass Window Stays in 10 and 12 Inch

The Heritage Brass V892 reeded casement stay is a solid brass peg stay with a ribbed reeded end, made to hold a casement window open at set positions and secure it when closed. Heritage Brass is the solid brass range from M.Marcus, the Dudley based British hardware manufacturer established in 1940.

Sizes

  • 10 inch (254mm) reeded casement stay
  • 12 inch (305mm) reeded casement stay

Each stay is supplied with two pins. As a rule, choose a stay that is roughly a third to half the width of the opening casement; 10 inch is the most common size on standard cottage and Victorian casements, 12 inch suits wider sashes. Add a V1007 casement stay locking pin if you want to lock the stay in the closed position.
