The PVD Brass 2½" Heavy Duty Latch has been thoughtfully engineered with both practicality and aesthetics in mind. A heavy duty tubular mortice latch for use with any of our knob sets or unsprung lever handles. Equipped with an extra strong spring to ensure our weighty knob sets and levers always return to position. Designed to complement our Aged Brass and Polished Brass ironmongery. We recommend using a 2.5" or 3" latch with our lever handles, and a 3", 4", or 5" latch with our knob sets. As with every product in the From The Anvil range, each detail has been carefully considered to ensure outstanding quality and longevity.

Care & Maintenance

Our Physical Vapour Deposition finish (PVD) is designed to prevent discolouration and oxidisation, making it an excellent choice where a low maintenance finish is required. We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
