The York Security British Standard 5 lever sash lock is a BS3621 kitemarked mortice lock for external timber doors. It latches with the handle and deadlocks with a key, and meets the standard most UK home insurers ask for on final exit doors. Made for M.Marcus, it is finished to match the handles rather than leaving a plain steel or brass faceplate on show.
