About the Design

Our collection of sash furniture complements all other products within the range, allowing a consistent finish throughout a property or project.

Burnished Brass Finish

Burnished Brass is an excellent choice for those wanting to add subtle luxury to their home interiors. Offering warmth without over dominating, this timeless finish complements a range of colours, and looks especially stunning when paired with paler shades.

Hand forged from a base of solid brass, Burnished Brass is an excellent example of how our unique manufacturing techniques add further intrigue to the natural charm of the base material. Each product undergoes an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the beautiful burnished finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection.

Other Finishes

This Prestbury Brighton Fastener (Radiused) is also available in Aged Brass, Aged Bronze, Black, Pewter Patina, Polished Brass, Polished Bronze, Polished Chrome, Polished Marine SS (316), Polished Nickel, Satin Brass, Satin Chrome and Satin Marine SS (316). See every finish in From The Anvil sash window fasteners.

Care & Maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like our 'Maintenance Wax' (33002) to offer some protection.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Matching Hardware

Finish the sash window with a pair of matching sash lifts, and add locking sash stops if you need to restrict opening. Compare other sash window fasteners, including Brighton fasteners, Fitch fasteners and sash hooks. Browse all brass window handles.
