10 x 4 Inch Letter Plates with a Deeper Opening

A 10 x 4 inch letter plate is the same width as the standard 10 x 3, with a taller plate and a deeper opening that takes thicker post, small parcels and catalogues more easily.

10 x 4 Inch Letter Plates in This Collection

• V850 10 x 4 inch letter plate - 254 x 102mm, aperture 208 x 50mm. Made in antique brass, satin brass, polished brass, matt bronze, polished chrome, satin chrome, satin nickel and polished nickel, plus matt black and unlacquered brass
• RR852 reeded letter plate - 254 x 101mm, matching the reeded range
• V845 embossed Letters letter plate - 254 x 101mm, with LETTERS cast into the flap

All three fit the V860 280 interior letter flap.

Choosing and Fitting a Letter Plate

For most houses a 10 x 3 inch letter plate is the standard choice. Choose a 12 x 4 inch plate for larger doors, offices, or if you get newspapers, magazines and lots of large envelopes. Heritage Brass letter plates are made for timber doors and bolt through the door, and an interior letter flap on the inside stops draughts.
