Heritage Brass - Combination Finish Kitchen and Cabinet Hardware

Two Tone Kitchen Handles, Bronze and Brass Cabinet Knobs and Porcelain Cupboard Knobs

Heritage Brass combination finish kitchen and cabinet hardware is 52 solid brass and porcelain kitchen handles and cupboard knobs by M.Marcus. 44 of them combine matt bronze with satin brass or satin nickel, and 8 are porcelain cupboard knobs. Two tone handles add detail to plain Shaker, slab and painted units without changing the colour scheme.

Two Tone Cabinet Pull Handles

Two tone cabinet pull handles come in Metro, Step, Hexagonal and Knurled designs on a plate, each in 96mm, 128mm and 160mm fixing centres, in matt bronze and satin brass or matt bronze and satin nickel. That is 24 pulls in all, sized for wall cupboards, base units and drawers.

Two Tone Cabinet Knobs

Two tone cupboard knobs come in Hexagon, Disc, Knurled Disc, Domed Disc and Round Hammered designs, each in 32mm and 38mm, in the same two combinations, so knobs and pulls can be mixed in one kitchen. For the same textures in a single finish, see knurled cabinet knobs and hammered cabinet knobs.

Porcelain Cupboard Knobs

Porcelain cupboard knobs in Plain White, Gold Line, White Crackle and Cream Crackle, each in 32mm and 38mm, suit cottage, country and period kitchens, dressers and bedroom furniture. Matching porcelain door knobs are available for the doors.

Single Finish Kitchen Hardware

For a whole kitchen in one finish, see matt bronze, satin brass and satin nickel kitchen and cabinet hardware. See the whole Heritage Brass combination finish range.

Care

The two tone handles use matt bronze, satin brass and satin nickel. Lacquered finishes, comprising polished brass, satin nickel, antique brass, matt bronze, satin brass, Jupiter, Mercury and Mayfair: all lacquered finishes will eventually break down over time. Lacquer breakdown will occur more frequently on products exposed to the climate, particularly in coastal areas and in polluted environments. Regularly removing dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth will help maintain the life of this finish. For products used externally, applying a non-abrasive light wax coating will protect the lacquer and could extend its life. Do not use metal cleaners or aerosol sprays, as these will damage the lacquer. External fittings will also benefit from a periodic light oiling of springs and moving parts. The life of the lacquer is beyond the manufacturer's control, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Wipe porcelain cupboard knobs with a soft damp cloth.

Two Tone Kitchen Handle Questions

What sizes do the two tone kitchen handles come in?
The pulls come in 96mm, 128mm and 160mm fixing centres, and the knobs in 32mm and 38mm.

Are porcelain cupboard knobs the same as ceramic knobs?
Porcelain is a type of ceramic, so if you are looking for ceramic cupboard knobs, these porcelain knobs are what you need.

Are the handles solid brass?
The two tone handles and knobs are made by M.Marcus in solid brass. The porcelain knobs are porcelain.

Bronze with brass or nickel, texture and mixing

Designing with Two Tone Kitchen Handles

Two tone handles are an easy way to add depth to a kitchen. The trick is choosing the combination that suits the rest of the room.

Matt bronze and satin brass. A warm pairing that sits well with brass or gold taps, warm wood worktops and deep green, navy or cream units. It brings the richness of bronze without making a kitchen feel dark.

Matt bronze and satin nickel. A cooler pairing for kitchens with chrome or nickel taps and stainless steel appliances, and for grey, white and charcoal units.

Pick a texture. The Knurled pull and Knurled Disc knob have a fine crosshatched grip, the Round Hammered knob a beaten surface, and the Metro, Step and Hexagonal pulls clean, simple lines. Use one texture throughout for a calm look, or mix plain pulls with textured knobs.

Knobs and pulls together. Every two tone pull and knob comes in both combinations, so you can fit knobs on wall cupboards and pulls on drawers and base units in exactly the same finish.

Beyond the kitchen. Two tone handles also suit utility rooms, wardrobes, bathroom vanity units and freestanding furniture, and they make a matching set with the matt bronze and satin brass Phoenix lever handles on the doors.

Care. Wipe the handles with a non-abrasive cloth to remove dirt and watermarks, and do not use metal cleaners or aerosol sprays.

Designs, sizes, matching door knobs and care

Porcelain Cupboard Knobs for Country Kitchens

Porcelain knobs are a natural fit for cottage, farmhouse and period kitchens, and for painted dressers and bedroom furniture. Here is what the Heritage Brass range offers.

Four designs. Plain White is clean and simple, Gold Line adds a gold line detail, and White Crackle and Cream Crackle have a crazed glaze that gives an aged, handmade look.

Two sizes. Each design comes in 32mm and 38mm. Many kitchens use the smaller knob on drawers and wall cupboards and the larger knob on base unit doors.

All porcelain. The cabinet knobs sit on a porcelain base, so there is no metal to match, which makes them easy to use with any tap or appliance finish.

Matching door furniture. The same four designs come as porcelain door knobs, finger plates and covered keyhole escutcheons, so the kitchen door can match the cupboards.

Ceramic or porcelain? Porcelain is a type of ceramic, so if you have been searching for ceramic cupboard knobs, these are the knobs you are looking for.

Care. Wipe porcelain knobs with a soft damp cloth and dry them.
