Heritage Brass Dual and Split Finish Door Handles on Backplate

Dual and Split Finish Lever Handles on Backplate

Every handle in this collection is a Heritage Brass lever on a backplate, made by M.Marcus in a dual or split finish. Backplate handles have the keyhole or turn built into the plate, so they cover old fixing holes and give a traditional, finished look on panel doors. About the dual and split finishes

Dual and split finishes combine two finishes on one handle, such as polished and satin chrome in the Apollo finish or polished and satin nickel in the Mercury finish. Jupiter and Mayfair split finishes are also included. The contrast picks out the shape of the design and adds detail to plain doors.

Choose by function

• Lever latch handles on backplate for doors that do not lock
• Lever lock handles on backplate with a keyhole for a sash lock
• Euro lock door handles for doors with a euro cylinder
• Bathroom door handles on backplate with a turn and release

Matching locks and door furniture

Match hinges, escutcheons and accessories from the Heritage Brass combination finish door furniture range. Lock and bathroom backplates have 57mm centres to suit standard UK sash locks and bathroom locks; euro backplates are cut for a euro cylinder, so check your lock centres before you order.

Caring for dual and split finishes

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. Avoid polishes and abrasive cleaners, which can blur the line between the two finishes.

Dual Finish Backplate Handle Questions

Do Heritage Brass backplate handles come with a lock?

No. Handles come as a pair with a spindle and fixings. Add a York tubular latch, sash lock, euro sash lock or bathroom lock to suit each door.

Which backplate do I need?

Choose a latch backplate for doors that do not lock, a lock backplate with a keyhole for a sash lock, a euro backplate for a cylinder lock and a bathroom backplate with a turn for toilets and en-suites.
