Heritage Brass Latch Door Handles on Backplate

Latch Backplate Lever Handles for Internal Doors

Heritage Brass latch door handles on backplate are for internal doors that need a handle but no lock, operating a tubular latch to hold the door closed. The backplate is plain, without a keyhole, and forms part of the Heritage Brass door handles and knobs range.

Where Latch Backplates Are Used

Latch handles suit everyday internal doors such as living rooms, kitchens and hallways where no key is needed. For doors that lock, see the lock backplate and euro lock backplate versions instead. Compare the wider latch door handles on backplate range.

Latch Handle Finishes

Heritage Brass latch backplate handles come in Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Satin Brass and Matt Black, matching the lock and bathroom versions so a whole house of doors can share one style.

Heritage Brass handles are sold without a latch. Choose one in a matching finish:

Matching York Tubular Latches

Latch handles on backplate need a tubular latch fitted in the door edge. The York Security tubular latch is made to sit behind Heritage Brass handles with a faceplate in the same finish, in standard and heavy duty versions from 2.5 to 5 inch. See the full York Security locks and latches range.
