The Heritage Brass V830 postal knocker combines a letter plate and a door knocker in one piece, so the flap doubles as the knocker. It is a neat choice where there is no room for a separate knocker, and it keeps the front door uncluttered.

Fitting a Door Knocker

Most knockers are fitted at about eye level, roughly 1.4 to 1.5m from the ground, centred on the door or on the middle rail.
