Heritage Brass privacy door handles are lever handles on a short backplate with a privacy turn on the inside and an emergency release on the outside. They work with a standard tubular latch: turning the snib stops the latch being drawn back, so the door stays shut until it is released. There is no separate deadbolt, which makes them quick to fit on toilets, cloakrooms and en-suites, and an easy upgrade where the door already has a tubular latch.
