What is the difference between the York tubular latch and the architectural latch?

The York Security tubular latch is lightly sprung for sprung handles and knobs. The York architectural tubular latch has a much stronger spring for unsprung levers, unsprung knobs and heavier handles.

What size tubular latch do I need?

A 2.5 inch latch suits most lever handles. Choose 3 inch for mortice knobs to give knuckle clearance from the frame, and 4 or 5 inch for wide stiles or period doors.

Will the latch match my door handles?
