Steel Line bathroom turn and release sets are made by M.Marcus to operate a bathroom lock on toilet, bathroom and bedroom doors fitted with lever handles on rose. There are 3 options in this collection, including a standard thumbturn and emergency release and a disabled turn and release for accessible toilets.

Fitting a Turn and Release

The turn goes on the inside of the door to lock it, and the release goes on the outside so the door can be opened in an emergency. Fit it with a York bathroom lock and Steel Line lever handles on rose. The disabled turn and release has a larger lever that is easier to grip, which suits accessible toilets. Add a Steel Line toilet door sign to finish the door.

Satin or Polished Stainless Steel?

Satin stainless steel has a brushed, low-glare finish that hides fingerprints and suits busy commercial doors. Polished stainless steel is bright and mirror-like, and suits contemporary homes, hotels and reception areas. Because the finish is the steel itself rather than a plated coating, it will not flake or wear through on high-traffic doors.
