York Mortice Bathroom Locks with 57mm Centres

A York Security bathroom lock combines a latch and a privacy bolt in one mortice case. The handle operates the latch, a thumbturn on the inside throws the bolt, and an emergency release on the outside lets the door be opened with a coin if needed. Made by M.Marcus and finished to match Heritage Brass door furniture.

Which Handles Does It Suit?

The York bathroom lock has 57mm centres for UK bathroom door handles on backplate with 8mm spindles, in 2.5 or 3 inch lengths. It also works with lever on rose handles and knobs using bolt through fixing - in that case fit a separate Heritage Brass bathroom thumb turn to operate the bolt.
