York Rebate Kits for Rebated Double Doors

Rebated doors, most often pairs of double doors, have a stepped edge where the two leaves overlap. A standard flat forend will not sit flush on that stepped edge, so a rebate kit is fitted to give the latch a stepped forend and matching strike. This collection holds the York tubular latch rebate kits from M.Marcus.

Compatibility

These kits are designed for the York Security standard tubular latch (YKTL) only. For BS3621 5 lever sash locks and deadlocks, separate 1/2 inch and 1 inch rebate kits are available to order - please contact us with the lock code and the depth of your rebate.

How to measure a rebate

• Close the doors and measure the depth of the step on the meeting edge
• Standard rebates are usually 1/2 inch (13mm)
• Check which leaf is the active door before ordering the latch and handles
