Heritage Brass - Antique Brass Accessories

Antique Brass Coat Hooks, Shelf Brackets and Door Bolts

Heritage Brass antique brass accessories are 69 solid brass hooks, brackets and bolts by M.Marcus, made to match Heritage Brass antique brass door handles, window furniture and cabinet hardware. Antique brass is a hand finished, aged brass that suits period homes, cottages and traditional interiors.

What is in the Range

The Antique Brass Finish

Heritage Brass polishes the brass and applies a bronze patina over the whole surface. Its polishers then use soft brushes to remove some of the patina and expose the brass below, so each piece has its own variance of shades. A clear electrophoretic lacquer is applied to preserve the final appearance.

Match the Rest of the House

Use antique brass hooks and bolts alongside antique brass door furniture, window furniture, hinges and kitchen and cabinet hardware. See the whole Heritage Brass antique brass range, or every finish in Heritage Brass accessories.

Antique Brass Accessories Questions

Will antique brass coat hooks match my antique brass door handles?
Yes. Heritage Brass uses the same antique brass finish across its accessories, door handles, window furniture and cabinet hardware.

What is the difference between a barrel bolt and a flush bolt?
A barrel bolt is surface fixed onto the face of the door. A flush bolt is recessed into the door edge so it sits level with the surface, often used on the fixed leaf of double doors.

What is a cabin hook used for?
A cabin hook holds a door, gate or shutter open or closed. The hook fixes to one side and the eye to the other.

Will antique brass hooks and bolts match exactly?
Very closely, but not exactly. Each piece is hand finished, with the bronze patina brushed back by hand, so expect slight differences in shade between pieces.
