Solid Brass Drop Handles for Drawers, Dressers and Cabinets

Heritage Brass cabinet drop pulls, also called drop handles, hang down when not in use and give a classic, period look on chests of drawers, dressers, sideboards, bureaus and traditional kitchens. There are 44 to choose from, in five designs and eight finishes, all made from solid brass by M.Marcus. They are part of the Heritage Brass kitchen and cabinet hardware range.

Drop Handle Designs

Ornate Plate, an ornate decorative backplate fixed at 78mm centres, 90mm long.
Ornate Round Plate, a drop handle on an intricate round backplate, 66mm long.
Square, 50mm x 50mm, for a simpler, more modern take on the drop handle.
Round, in 50mm and 63mm sizes.
Hexagon, 51mm, to match Heritage Brass hexagon cabinet hardware.

Finishes

Choose antique brass, satin brass, polished brass, matt bronze, polished chrome, polished nickel or satin nickel, with satin chrome also made in the two ornate designs. Antique brass and polished brass drop handles are the traditional choice for period furniture. Drop Handle Questions

What is a drop handle?
A drop handle, or drop pull, is a handle that hangs down against the drawer or door when not in use. You lift it to pull the drawer open. It is a traditional choice for antique and period style furniture.

Where are drop handles used?
Drop handles suit chests of drawers, dressers, sideboards, bureaus, wardrobes and traditional kitchens, where a classic hanging handle is wanted instead of a fixed knob or bar.

Can I mix drop handles with knobs?
Yes. A common look is drop handles on the drawers and matching cupboard knobs on the doors, in the same finish.

What do I need to check when replacing a drop handle?
Measure the existing fixing holes. The Ornate Plate design fixes at 78mm centres, so it will fit existing holes at that spacing.
