Heritage Brass Hook Plate Sash Fasteners

Hook Plate and Quadrant Sash Fasteners

A hook plate sash fastener, also called a quadrant fastener, has a curved arm that swings across the meeting rails into a hooked keep, holding the sashes together. Heritage Brass makes it in plain, reeded and ringed designs. Part of the Heritage Brass sash window fasteners range.

Hook Plate Designs

  • Hook plate sash fastener (V1106) and lockable hook plate (V1106L): the plain design, in ten finishes including unlacquered brass and matt black.
  • Reeded hook plate sash fastener (V1104) and lockable reeded (V1104L): with a fluted reeded knob, 70mm long. See Heritage Brass reeded sash fasteners.
  • Ringed sash fastener (V1105): with a ringed knob, 69mm long.

Complete the Window

Add two sash lifts to the bottom rail and a pair of locking sash stops. Need a key lock? See lockable sash fasteners. Compare every brand in our quadrant sash fasteners range.

Hook Plate Sash Fastener Questions

Is a hook plate fastener the same as a quadrant fastener?
Yes. Both names describe a sash fastener with a curved arm that swings into a hooked keep on the other sash.

Is the hook plate sash fastener made in matt black?
Yes. The V1106 and lockable V1106L are made in matt black, as well as unlacquered brass and eight other finishes.

Are lockable sash fasteners a security lock?
The lockable Heritage Brass fasteners lock with a key, so the sashes cannot be released from inside without it. They are not insurance rated window locks, so for ground floor or easily reached windows add a pair of locking sash stops as well.
