About the Polished Brass finish

Polished brass is the classic bright gold brass finish. It is a traditional choice for Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes, front doors and panel doors, and it also works as a bold accent in modern interiors.

Choose polished brass handles and knobs by type

• polished brass lever handles on rose for a clean look on internal doors
• polished brass door handles on backplate with latch, lock, bathroom and euro plates
• polished brass mortice knobs for period panel doors
• polished brass centre door knobs for front doors
• polished brass door pull handles and flush pulls for pull doors and sliding doors
• polished brass bathroom door handles with thumb turn plates

Not every design is made in every finish, so use the filters to see what is available in polished brass.

Matching polished brass door furniture

Finish the door with matching hinges, escutcheons and accessories from our Heritage Brass polished brass door furniture collection. Our team at the Kendal and Carlisle showrooms works with Heritage Brass every day and can help you check finishes, sizes and locks before you order.

Complete the look with polished brass door furniture accessories in the same finish: door knockers, letter plates, house numbers, escutcheons, bathroom thumb turns and door stops, so every fitting on the door matches.

Caring for the polished brass finish

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. The finish is lacquered, so do not use brass polish or abrasive pads, which will break down the lacquer.
