What is a standard profile escutcheon?

A standard profile escutcheon is a traditional keyhole cover for a door with a mortice lock and key. It finishes the keyhole neatly and protects the timber.

Which locks does it suit?

A standard key escutcheon suits 2, 3 and 5 lever mortice sashlocks and deadlocks that use a traditional key.

Open or covered escutcheon?

An open escutcheon leaves the keyhole visible, while a covered version has a small swinging cover for a neater look and a little draught protection.
