This York Security standard duty tubular latch is the everyday latch for internal doors that do not need locking from either side. It is lightly sprung, so it is designed to work with handles that have their own return spring, such as sprung lever handles and sprung mortice knobs, keeping the action smooth rather than stiff. The 3" size is the recommended length for sprung mortice knobs, giving your hand more clearance from the door frame.

Finish

Antique brass is an aged finish with darker bronze tones and brighter brass highlights, sealed with a clear protective lacquer. It is chosen to match the antique brass door handles, knobs and hinges in the M.Marcus range. Antique finishes vary slightly in tone from piece to piece, which is a characteristic of the finish rather than a fault. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
