This York Security architectural heavy duty tubular latch has a strong spring that does the work of returning the handle to rest. That makes it the right latch for unsprung lever handles, unsprung mortice knobs and heavy lever handles that droop on a lightly sprung latch. The 2 1/2" size is recommended for lever handles. Note that this length does not take bolt through fixing, so use it with lever handles that screw-fix to the door.

Finish

The faceplate is supplied in a combined polished chrome and polished nickel finish, chosen to sit comfortably with either polished chrome or polished nickel door handles. Wipe with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and water marks. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
