Two Brighton Designs

• Brighton sash fastener (V2055): the standard Brighton pattern, 58mm long and 23mm wide.
• Lockable narrow Brighton sash fastener (V2054): only 12mm wide and 56mm long, with a key lock. It suits slim meeting rails and windows where there is little space, and is also listed in lockable sash fasteners.

Are lockable sash fasteners a security lock?
The lockable Heritage Brass fasteners lock with a key, so the sashes cannot be released from inside without it. They are not insurance rated window locks, so for ground floor or easily reached windows add a pair of locking sash stops as well.
