Every product here is a Heritage Brass door knocker by M.Marcus in unlacquered brass, raw solid brass with no lacquer, which darkens and develops a natural patina outdoors, or can be polished back to bright gold. Each knocker is cast in solid brass and bolts through the door for a solid, satisfying knock.

Fitting a Door Knocker

Most knockers are fitted at about eye level, roughly 1.4 to 1.5m from the ground, centred on the door or on the middle rail.
