This CE marked heavy duty tubular latch has a strong spring that does the work of returning the handle to rest. That makes it the right latch for unsprung lever handles, unsprung mortice knobs and heavy lever handles that droop on a lightly sprung latch. At 4" the latch sets the handle further in from the door edge, which suits wide door stiles, period panelled doors and larger knobs where you want extra knuckle room.

Finish

The faceplate is supplied in a combined satin chrome and satin nickel finish, so it works with either brushed chrome or brushed nickel door handles. Wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth to keep it clean. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
