Small 8 x 3 Inch Letter Plates

The V850 8 x 3 inch letter plate is a small letter box for cottage doors, narrow rails and internal post doors, where a standard 10 inch plate would be too wide.

Size and Finishes

• 203 x 76mm plate, aperture 144 x 38mm, fixing centres 172mm
• Solid brass, bolt-through fixing for timber doors
• Made in antique brass, satin brass, polished brass, matt bronze, polished chrome, satin chrome, satin nickel and polished nickel

It fits the V860 280 interior letter flap. For most house doors, the 10 x 3 letter plate is the standard size.

Choosing and Fitting a Letter Plate

For most houses a 10 x 3 inch letter plate is the standard choice. Choose a 12 x 4 inch plate for larger doors, offices, or if you get newspapers, magazines and lots of large envelopes. Heritage Brass letter plates are made for timber doors and bolt through the door, and an interior letter flap on the inside stops draughts.
