How the Matt Bronze Finish Ages

Heritage Brass ages the brass and then applies a clear lacquer. Over time the bronze colour lightens along edges and on the parts you touch most, such as fastener arms and stay ends, exposing the brass below for a naturally aged look. As the finish is designed to change, there is no warranty on the matt bronze finish. Clean with a soft, damp cloth only, as metal polish will damage the lacquer.
