Heritage Brass Sash Window Rings

Solid Brass Sash Rings and Ring Pulls

A sash ring is a compact ring pull fitted to the sash. You hook a finger, or a window pole on high sashes, through the ring to raise or lower the window. The Heritage Brass sash ring (V1120) is solid brass and comes in ten finishes. Two are normally used on each sash. Part of the Heritage Brass sash lifts and rings range.

Sash Ring Questions

What is the difference between a sash lift and a sash ring?
A sash lift is a hook or handle that stands proud of the rail so you can grip it. A sash ring is a smaller fitting with a ring you hook a finger into. Both are used to raise and lower the sash, and both are usually fitted in pairs.

How many sash rings do I need?
Two per sash, fitted towards each end so the sash moves evenly.

Will unlacquered brass sash window furniture tarnish?
Yes, by design. Unlacquered brass has no protective coating, so it darkens and develops a natural patina over time. Polish it with brass polish to keep it bright, or leave it to age.
